Options Clubhouse


The hub where adults recovering from mental illness help each other and themselves to find employment, housing, advocacy, education, parenting support, and wellness.


Workforce Development

Provides education, training and supports to low-wage workers and unemployed families seeking employment or advancement in the health care field.

Visitation Support - Options Clubhouse staff work with parents to plan visits that will be developmentally appropriate, interactive and pleasurable for parents and their children. Staff also provide supervised visitation and transportation to these visits.

Parenting Education - Clubhouse staff and members help parents increase their understanding of their children, improve their parenting skills, and acknowledge the challenges of being a non-custodial parent, and the losses that both they and their children have endured.

Liaison with Clubhouse Family Legal Project - Clubhouse staff facilitate contact and communication between parents and attorneys, in support of the parent's journey to gain visitation and custodial care.

Parent Peer Support Group - Parents meet regularly to discuss the challenges of being non-custodial parents, sharing concerns, ideas and solutions.

Corporation for Public Management

CPM is a job placement program. They offer on the job training, interviewing skills, basic computer training, resume building, day care access, job search and placement services.

A Suitable Image

A Suitable Image helps low-income women successfully transition into the workforce. Our clients are referred by human service or government agencies and employment centers. They may be drawn from domestic violence or homeless shelters, substance abuse or work release programs, immigration or literacy programs. Clients may be in a job training or educational programs and preparing for job interviews. They may be searching for a job, or recently employed but still in need of clothing. They may need appropriate attire for a court date. We will provide, at no cost to the client or the referring agency, 'gently used' quality attire suitable for these situations.

Employment and Training Resources

Career Guidance is available to help individuals identify resources, develop strategies related to job search, resume and cover letter preparation, and interviewing, as well as assisting job seekers with placement assistance.

Computer Learning Labs - There are Computer Learning Labs at the Marlborough, Newton, and Norwood career centers. Basic computer and Internet introductory workshops are conducted at all three sites.

Jump Start

Jump Start is an eight month demonstration program that assists DMH/MassRehab young adults 16-26 in jump starting their careers through mentoring, and participation in courses or workshops in computers, career development, and wellness.
