Catholic Charities

Our Natick community service center offers 9/11 victims' support, emergency financial assistance for fuel, rent and utilities as well as food, food vouchers and gift certificates when available. Clothes and baby supplies such as diapers are also available from time to time.

Advocates Inc.

The Local Connection

TLC offers curb to curb transportation services for residents of Marlborough and Southborough to all local destinations including malls, stores, medical facilities etc. Each ride is $2 one way.

Marlborough Community Services Inc.

Services offered through the agency's Food Pantry include distribution of nutritionally appropriate food and access to clothing and small household items 24 hours per day, seven days per week. On-call interpreters also provide facilitation to the hospital, local police, fire departments and other employers and providers.

Ashland Youth and Family Services

Ashland Food Pantry supplies food and personal care products to Ashland families in need. The hours are Monday-Friday 10:00AM to 3:00PM and by appointment.
School Advocacy program provides parents and children with an advocate while in school or when working with the school in times of academic or behavioral crisis.
Youth Advisory's Juvenile Court Diversion program works with the Ashland Police Department to keep many children from entering the court system. This program is tailored to the individual child's needs and is used as a learning experience, in hopes to prevent future arrests.

Ashland Emergency Fund

The Ashland Emergency Fund (AEF) provides financial assistance to recipients according to need, typically on a one-time basis. AEF support may continue until relevant assistance from state agencies is in place or until the crisis passes. Medical, heating, electric, rent and food are among the expenses for which the AEF offers support. And any Ashland resident can qualify: those receiving assistance are our neighbors and friends.

Health Safety Net Fund

The Health Safety Net is a program for Massachusetts residents who are not eligible for health insurance or can't afford to buy it.The goal of the Safety Net is to make sure that all Massachusetts residents can get health care when they need it, regardless of income.

Contact:
Most people must file a MassHealth application to get Health Safety Net (Free Care) benefits. You can file your application at a community health center (CHC) or hospital, or you can send your application directly to MassHealth. If you are applying for Medical Hardship, you must file a Medical Hardship application at a CHC or hospital.

A Place to Turn provides emergency groceries, furniture and clothing to individuals and families in need.

WIC

WIC is a free program that provides healthy foods and nutrition and health information to Massachusetts' families who qualify. WIC is for all kinds of families: married and single parents, working or not working. If you are a father, mother, grandparent, foster parent or other legal guardian of a child under 5, you can apply for WIC for your child.
